What happens next

  1. Home-safety assessment

    We start by understanding what would make daily routines safer and easier.

  2. OT involvement when available

    An occupational therapist can help inform the assessment when available.

  3. Funding and insurance paperwork

    We help organize paperwork and questions for the program or plan.

  4. Installation coordination

    If a plan moves forward, we coordinate the installation work.

Program eligibility and coverage vary. Approval is determined by the funding source.

Hearthstep Works will open the request form after the owner confirms both service readiness items below. No request is accepted while either item is missing.
